Sail Racing

A highly innovative clothing brand in their pursuit to produce the best fitting apparel, by incorporating exciting new materials and technically advanced solutions from industries outside their own.

We set out to create an inspiring and story driven experience throughout all channels. A experience that positions the product in gorgeous surroundings and underline the high level of innovation.

Sail Racing is a brand known for its iconic and artistic images by the legendary photographer Jan Söderström (link). Apart from idea creation and concept we are responsible for the brand´s digital experience. We set out to engage the consumers online with creative communication and strong storytelling. That includes web design, development and campaigns. To complement the iconic images we made motion scenes.

We immersed ourselves in the brand, gathering insights from a wide-ranging group of employees - from those with years in the design lab developing products. That led us to restructure all of their content to tell a very simple story: Product, Sailing and Vision, each rallying around the central aspiration to think beyond the core product.

Adstream is an extension of our team and challenges us to be more creative. What we needed in an agency is exactly what they are.

A new digital experience

A story told in a visual way is a story that engages. Our solution for the website is based on a balance between intuitive functional structure and inspirational design while at the same time resolving complex technical requirements. A key feature in the site is a bit hidden. The content pages is developed in wordpress while the e-commerce section is external Jetshop e-commerce platform. The menu and footer seamlessly floats between the platforms. This allows us to create inspiring stories with no limits in wordpress while the e-commerce lives its own life.
